UCMG contains a network of more than 200 primary care physicians who are certified by the American Board of General Practice, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Obstetrics/Gynecology. More than 300 Physician Specialists who are certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. For subspecialty referral, UCMG utilizes the so called Letter of Authorization to allow members to see subspecialists who are not officially contracted with UCMG.

UCMG utilizes Hospitalists who care for you if you are admitted to hospital as inpatient. There are three Hospitalist groups which are contracted with UCMG: Tam Nguyen, MD, Inc., Southern California Hospitalist Network, South County Pediatric Critical.

However, if you have to admit to any hospitals outside of Orange, UCMG authorizes physicians who are not contracted with UCMG to treat you while you are in the facility.

If the medical conditions required longer inpatient care after acute hospitalization, you may be admitted to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), and stay there until you are able to go home or to go to Lower Of Care facilities. Doctor Ngo Williams Loi and Truong Nhu are assigned by the Board of Directors to admit, to follow patient while they reside in SNF.

UCMG also contract with Podiatrists, Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists who practice in Orange County area. Several Durable Medical Equipment companies are affiliated with UCMG.

UCMG utilizes Lab Corps for any laboratory testing, and Magnolia Imaging Center for radiological procedures. These organizations provide speedy and accurate results which facilitate physicians to follow the disease process.
